723.01 DEFINITIONS.

   As used in this chapter:

   (a)   "Collector" means any individual, corporation, partnership or agency that is engaged in the business of collecting accounts, debts, claims or demands for a fee, either contingent or fixed.

   (b)   "Corporation" means any firm, chartered by the State of Ohio, or any other state.

   (c)   "Partnership" means any written or oral agreement of partnership of two or more persons.

   (d)   "Agencies" means any group of persons not otherwise herein defined as a corporation or partnership.

   (e)   "Person" means any individual not otherwise defined herein.

   (f)   "Accounts" means any indebtedness either current or delinquent.

   (g)   "Issuing authority" means the Mayor or his designated subordinate.
