719.02 BOND.

   A bond shall be filed with the Mayor in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000) per story of such building, but not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) with surety to the satisfaction of the Mayor, conditioned to save the City whole, harmless and free from any claims, demands, actions or causes of action resulting from or growing out of the performance of the work, and to pay all damages occasioned by or incident to such work, further, subject to compliance with any requirements of the Police Chief, in his judgment reasonably necessary in the particular situation, for the protection and preservation of the public health, safety, welfare or convenience.
