547.27 COMPENSATION FOR EXTRA WORK.

Contracts may provide for the performance of such extra work as may be lawfully authorized upon compensation to be fixed in the manner provided in the specifications and in the contract and may provide for an abatement of a contract price to be determined in like manner, if changes in the work lawfully authorized shall justify the same.
