541.12 TRESPASSING UPON LAWNS OR OTHER PRIVATE PROPERTY.

   No delivery personnel, including letter carriers, whether employed by a private firm or governmental agency or a governmental supported corporation, shall continue to traverse lawns or private property after being notified or requested by the owner or occupant thereof to cease and desist traversing on such lawn or private property when such owner or occupant particularly provides a separate and approved sidewalk or walkway accepted by the general public for use in making proper delivery.

   Whoever violates this section is guilty of trespass, a minor misdemeanor for the first offense; and a misdemeanor of the fourth degree for the second offense.
