The initial issuance of a dog license shall be accompanied by a license tag which shall be valid for so long as the dog is owned by the person to whom the tag is originally issued. License tags shall be metallic, shall be numbered serially, and shall have a stamp thereon bearing the name of the County. (§ 2, Ord. 703, eff. May 22, 1974, as amended by § 7, Ord. 963, eff.
