Sec. 6-1.201.   Sheriff.
   The sheriff shall:
   (a)   Supervise and direct the Chief of the Animal Control Division, and his or her deputies or assistants and the Animal Control Registrars in the performance of their duties;
   (b)   Administer the dog licensing and kennel licensing provisions of this chapter;
   (c)   Collect at least monthly all dog license fees and kennel license fees received by the Chief of the Animal Control Division, and Animal Control Registrars; and
   (d)   Deposit at least monthly all fees collected by him or her in the County Treasury for deposit in the general fund of the County, and render with the money so deposited an itemized statement of collections, and file a copy thereof with the County Auditor.
