Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor on each day during which such violation occurs and, upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred and no/100ths ($500.00) Dollars, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
