Sec. 2-2.3901.   Creation and Role of Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council and Subcommittee.
   As required by Welfare and Institutions Code section 749.22, there is hereby created a Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council to advise the Probation Department on a continuum of county-based responses to juvenile crime. As required by Welfare and Institutions Code section 1995, the County also creates a Juvenile Justice Realignment Subcommittee of the Council. The Council and Subcommittee shall carry out all functions described in applicable sections of the California Welfare and Institutions Code, including but not limited to sections 749.22 and 1995, as may be amended from time to time. The Council may also advise the Probation Department on additional juvenile justice matters referred to the Council for its consideration.
   All meetings of the Council and Subcommittee shall comply with the Ralph M. Brown Act.
