Sec. 4-6.601. Required personnel: Unit operators.

   In addition to any other requirements contained herein, no service may utilize a driver or pilot to operate a unit unless:

   (a)   He or she is familiar with the geographic area of the organization's service area;

   (b)   He or she has adequate knowledge of all the hospitals within the service's operating area;

   (c)   He or she can operate a two-way radio;

   (d)   He or she can operate a unit under emergency conditions. (§ 1, Ord. 1515, eff. December 19, 2019)
