§ 152.009 MALICIOUSLY INJURING OR DESTROYING FRUIT, SHADE OR ORNAMENTAL TREES.
   Any person who shall willfully and maliciously, or wantonly and without cause, cut down or destroy or otherwise injure any tree or shrub not his or her own, standing or growing on the land of another, the damage for which said cutting down, destruction or injury to the owner of said tree or shrub shall amount to the sum of less than $200, is guilty as punishable in § 152.999 of this chapter.
