§ 151.007 MALICIOUS, WILLFUL DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY BY MINORS; RECOVERY OF DAMAGES.
   The city may recover damages and the cost of clean-up in an amount not to exceed $2,500 in a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction against the parents or parent of an unemancipated minor, living with his or her parents or parent, who has maliciously or willfully destroyed or defaced (including the writing of graffiti upon city property) any real, personal or mixed property which belongs to the city.
