§ 110.060 PERMITS REQUIRED; APPLICATION; FEE; DISPLAY.
   (A)   Required. It shall be unlawful for any person, owner, tenant or lessee of a residence to conduct, advertise or promote a garage sale without first filing with the City Clerk the information hereinafter specified and obtaining from such City Clerk a permit to do so, to be known as a “garage sale permit”.

   (B)   Application. A person desiring a garage sale permit shall make written application to the City Clerk on the forms prescribed by said Clerk. Such forms shall contain the following:
      (1)   Name and address of the person, group, organization, partnership, association or corporation conducting the sale;
      (2)   Location at which said sale is to be conducted;
      (3)   The number of days which said sale is to be conducted;
      (4)   A description of the items proposed to be sold;
      (5)   The date, nature and location of any past sale conducted by the applicant; and
      (6)   An affidavit signed by the applicant affirming that the items to be sold are the sole property of such applicant.

   (C)   Fee. The fee for a garage sale permit is $10 which shall be obtained at the City Clerk’s office and is due a the time of making application for the permit.

   (D)   Display. The permit authorizing the garage sale shall be displayed in the front window or other prominent place, clearly visible from the street, at each location where a sale is being conducted.
