(A) All permits shall be secured from the City Engineer.
(B) No alterations or additions shall be made in the existing wiring of any buildings, or structures nor shall any building or structure be wired for the placing of any electric lights, motors, heating devices or any apparatus requiring the use of electrical current, nor shall any alterations to be made in the wiring in any building or structure after inspection without first notifying the City Engineer and securing a permit thereof.
(C) Division (A) above shall not apply to minor repair work such as repairing flush and snap switches, replacing fuses, changing lamp sockets and receptacles and taping bare joints.
(D) Additional permits shall be required:
(1) If more than one inspection is necessary on any violation notice; and
(2) For special inspections required for the investigation of any ordinance violations.
