5-1-2: EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONSHIP:
Nothing herein shall be construed as creating an employee/employer relationship between the town and any county officer or employee. All persons employed by the sheriff and providing general law enforcement to the town shall be county officers or employees, and they shall not have any benefit status or rights of town employees. (Ord. 85-11, 9-9-1985)
