The Board of Aldermen may accept gifts, grants or loans from the federal government or any agency or officer thereof or any person, firm or corporation upon acceptance by the state as provided in G.S. § 166A-19.71; and may make contracts, obtain and distribute equipment, materials and supplies as provided in § 166A-19.71. In addition, the Coordinator may make available for emergency management purposes the equipment, supplies and facilities of the town, and the services of any town employee or official.
