2-1-4: REMOVAL:
The president may remove any member of a board or commission for neglect of duty (including, but not limited to, having 3 unexcused absences from regular or special commission or board meetings within a 12 month period), misconduct, failure to comply with section 2-1-5 of this chapter, malfeasance in office and/or failure to productively participate in the business of the board or commission. Prior to removal, the president shall provide the board or commission member a written statement of the reasons for removal and an opportunity to be heard before the president.
