A. The village of Worth hereby adopts by reference the national incident management system as its system of preparing for and responding to disaster incidents.
B. The village of Worth further commits to use NIMS in its individual domestic incident management and emergency prevention, preparedness, response recovery and mitigation programs and activities as well as in support of those actions taken to assist state, local, or tribal entities.
C. The village president is directed and authorized to monitor and implement the standards, guidelines, and compliance protocols published by the secretary of homeland security through the NIMS integration center. (Res. 04-11, 9-7-2004)
