There is hereby established the position of part time auxiliary police officer in such number as the corporate authorities of the village shall, from time to time, deem necessary. Part time auxiliary police officers shall be appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. Part time auxiliary officers shall not: a) be eligible to join the Worth police pension fund; b) supervise or direct full time officers; c) be permanent replacements for full time officers.
