8-22-7: VIOLATIONS:
   A.   It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation, partnership, association or other entity to fail to comply with this chapter. Each day that a violation occurs is a separate violation.
   B.   A person who smokes in an area where smoking is prohibited shall be fined in an amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first offense and two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each subsequent offense. A person who owns, operates, or otherwise controls a public place or place of employment that violates this chapter shall be fined: 1) two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for the first violation, 2) five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the second violation within one year after the first violation, and 3) two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) for each additional violation within one year after the first violation.
   C.   A person who owns, operates or otherwise controls a public place or place of employment who violates this chapter may also have their business license or liquor license suspended or revoked pursuant to section 3-1-14 of this code. (Ord. 12-16, 10-25-2012)
