Prior to the completion of the final survey of streets and lots of any subdivision and before any map of the subdivision is made in form suitable for recording, a preliminary layout, prepared in accordance with the regulations set forth herein, shall be submitted to the real estate development board for its review and recommendations. If the proposed subdivision is a small subdivision, the subdivider shall have the right to dispense with preparation of the preliminary layout and to proceed directly with submission of the final plat. In such case, the fee of section 6-1-8 of this title shall be payable upon submission of the final plat. (Ord. 02-08, 6-5-2002)
