1-5-2: MEETINGS:
   A.   Regular Meetings: Regular meetings of the president and board of trustees shall be held at the village hall on the first and third Tuesday of each month at seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. If the regular meeting day falls on a village recognized holiday, on which the village hall is closed, the meeting shall be postponed to a day that is set by the village board.    B.   Special Meetings: Special meetings of the president and board of trustees may be called by the president or any three (3) trustees. The call shall be in writing, include an agenda and be delivered to the village clerk's office. The village clerk shall post the notice and shall effectuate actual or constructive notice of the special meeting to the president and board of trustees and news media by an appropriate method.    C.   Committee Of The Whole: (Rep. by Ord. 04-22, 4-20-2004)
   D.   Agenda: The agenda for each regular meeting of the president and board of trustees shall be prepared by the village clerk. (1970 Code §2.7a; amd. 1995 Code)
   E.   Remote Participation:
      1.   Definition Of Meeting: The term "meeting" as used in any existing village of Worth resolutions, ordinances or rules shall be defined to mean, "any gathering, whether in person or by video or audio conference, telephone calls, electronic means (such as, without limitation, electronic mail, electronic chat and instant messaging), or other means of contemporary interactive communication, of a majority of a quorum of the members of a public body held for the purpose of discussing public business" or such other definition as shall be contained within the state statutes.
      2.   Remote Participation Policy: The village of Worth hereby adopts the remote participation policy, attached to the ordinance codified herein, that permits a member of the public body to attend and participate in any meeting of a public body as defined in the open meetings act from a remote location via telephone, video or internet connection provided that such attendance and participation is in compliance with the policy and any applicable laws.
