A. Duties:
1. Issuance Of Commissions, Permits And Licenses: The president of the board of trustees shall sign all commissions and permits granted by the board of trustees and grant and sign all licenses except as otherwise provided by law or ordinance. (1970 Code §2.11)
2. Powers As To Litigation: The president of the board of trustees shall sign and is authorized to sign in behalf of the village all instruments necessary to the prompt prosecution or defense of any or all actions brought by or against the village, including bonds for injunction. (1970 Code §2.12)
B. Local Liquor Control Commissioner 1 : The village president shall serve as the local liquor control commissioner of the village, and he shall receive the compensation attaching to such offices. (Ord. 91-8, 4-23-1991)
