A. The real estate development board shall have the powers and duties vested by state law in the zoning board of appeals and the plan commission, and in particular, shall have the power and authority:
1. To hear and decide all appeals from an administrative order, requirement, or determination made by the building commissioner.
2. To hear and decide all applications for variations upon which the board is required to decide under this code.
3. To hear and thereafter report findings and recommendation to the village board in all other variations.
4. To hear and decide all other matters upon which it is required to pass under this code.
5. To hear and report findings and recommendations to the president and village board on all applications for amendments and special use permits in the manner prescribed by standards and other regulations set forth in this code.
6. To initiate, direct, and review, from time to time, studies of the provisions of title 5 of this code, and to make reports of its recommendations to the president and village board not less frequently than once each year. (Ord. 2014-07, 2-4-2014)
