2.1.4: GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES:
   A.   The members of the established boards and commissions in their capacity as board members and commissioners shall not be recognized as officers of the city. The city council serves as the sole municipal officers and corporate authorities.
   B.   The established boards and commissions are vested with the general powers and duties prescribed by the chapters of this title on behalf of the city of Woodstock.
   C.   Additional powers and duties may be set forth from time to time as provided and directed by the city council.
   D.   Additional powers and duties specified in the Illinois Compiled Statutes/Illinois municipal code shall also apply for each board and commission.
   E.   In conducting city business, the members of all established boards and commissions shall comport themselves in an ethical, professional manner.
   F.   Regulations or guidelines for the conduct of meetings, hearings, or special projects may be developed by each of the established boards and commissions and, after approval by the city council, shall be in full force and effect upon filing with the city clerk. (Ord. 08-O-68, 11-4-2008)
