If public act 92-0526, simplified municipal telecommunications tax act, is repealed or becomes ineffective for any reason, or if this chapter is repealed or becomes ineffective for any reason, then ordinance 2627 passed May 7, 1996, an ordinance amending this title implementing a telecommunications tax within the city of Woodstock, McHenry County, Illinois, and ordinance 2707 passed November 4, 1997, an ordinance amending this code by imposing a municipal telecommunications infrastructure maintenance fee shall be deemed in full force and effect as of the date public act 92-0526 or this chapter is repealed or becomes ineffective.
