65 Illinois Compiled Statutes, 5/10-2.1, as amended from time to time, entitled "Board of Fire and Police Commissioners" ("State Statute"), be and the same is hereby adopted by reference; provided that, except as noted, the following sections of said State statute are expressly not adopted:
A. Section 5/10-2.1-3
B. Section 5/10-2.1-5
C. Section 5/10-2.1-8
D. Section 5/10-2.1-9
E. Section 5/10-2.1-10
F. Section 5/10-2.1-11
G. Section 5/10-2.1-12
H. Section 5/10-2.1-14 - except that the third paragraph of Section 5/10-2.1-14 regarding maximum ages for appointment is adopted by reference.
I. Section 5/10-2.1-15.
Further, to the extent that any provisions of this Chapter and/or the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to Section 2-4-6 of this Chapter may be in conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of the State statute adopted by this Section 2-4-1, the provisions of this Chapter and the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to Section 2-4-6 of this Chapter shall control, said provisions of this Chapter and the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to Section 2-4-6 of this Chapter being expressly enacted pursuant to the home rule authority of the Village.
