1321.06 LIMITATIONS ON SIGN SIZE AND AREA.
   (a)   Maximum gross area of all permanent signs permitted for each separate use occupying a building or unit of a building, shall be related to the width of a building, or unit thereof, adjusted.
      (1)   Office building usage: Maximum gross area of signs = (W x 0.5) + 20
      (2)   Local business and motor service usage: Maximum gross area of signs = (W x 1.2) + 40
      (3)   Shopping center and commercial-service usage: Maximum gross area of signs = (W x 1.5) + 40
      (4)   "Maximum gross area" means the total area of all permanent signs.
      (5)   "W" means the frontage of a building as defined in Section 1321.05(b)(1).
   (b)   The maximum area for ground signs is established in Section 1321.03.
   (c)   No individual sign shall exceed seventy-five square feet with maximum letter size of thirty inches at 100 feet from the curb or the equivalent proportional perspective size as recommended by national professional standards.
