No person shall be licensed as an exhibitor under this chapter unless he or she is of good moral character. No firm or corporation shall be licensed as an exhibitor unless all of the members of such firm or all of the officers and directors of such corporation and the chief business manager of such firm or corporation are of good moral character. A person convicted within the preceding five years of a felony or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude shall be considered as being not of good moral character.
