Council hereby authorizes the publication of an official newsletter for the purpose of disseminating information pertaining to the official business of Council and other official information of the Village.
The newsletter shall be used exclusively for the purpose of disseminating public information to the residents of the Village. Use of the publication for the purpose of presenting information intended to influence elections or information of a political nature is prohibited.
The cost of the newsletter shall be paid out of the General Fund of the Village. Rules and regulations governing the method and manner in which the publication is presented may be promulgated by Council as needed.
