§ 1462.02 ELECTRIC AND BARBED WIRE FENCES.
   (a)   No person shall erect or maintain any fence charged with electrical current.
   (b)   No person shall erect or maintain a barbed wire fence, except as may be authorized by the Building Commissioner/Inspector in business and manufacturing zones when there is evidence from the Police Department that vandalism problems exist in such areas, provided that:
      (1)   Fences with barbed wire are prohibited in any required front yard or in front of any building.
      (2)   A maximum of three strands of barbed wire are permitted on a single support, and a maximum of three strands are permitted on each arm of a “Y” support, provided that the strands and support do not exceed 16 inches above the required height of the fence and that such strands are not less than 72 inches from the ground.
