§ 1462.01 PLACEMENT; CONSTRUCTION; DESIGN.
   (a)   Fences may be placed on property where required but may not be used on property lines within 30 feet of the intersection of two streets if the screening would in any way reduce the visibility of traffic movement.
   (b)   A fence within required side yard lines shall be limited in height to six feet from its base to the top of construction. Fences on the top of retaining walls shall be measured from the grade on the higher side of the wall. Whether intended primarily for protection from trespassers, for visual barriers or for wind-break purposes, fences shall be made from durable materials, permanently and securely anchored into place.
   (c)   All fences shall be engineered and designed to comply with the provisions of the Ohio Basic Building Code.
