(a) The Village Administrator shall be appointed to represent the Village on the County Community Development Advisory Committee.
(b) The Vice-Mayor shall be appointed as the alternate representative and shall serve as representative to the County Committee in the absence of the Village Administrator.
(c) The major responsibilities of the County Community Development Advisory Committee representative are to:
(1) Represent the Village at meetings of the Committee;
(2) Serve as an adviser to the local Community Citizens Advisory Committee;
(3) Serve as a liaison to the local Committee, Council and the County Community Development Department in all community development program-related activities; and
(4) Implement the citizen participation requirements of the community development plan and ultimately certify on behalf of Council that these requirements have been met, prior to submitting project requests for funding to the County.
