The County Auditor is hereby authorized, on behalf of the Village, to apportion various assessments against real estate in the Village, when such apportionment is necessary due to cut-ups, transfers or transactions involving such real estate. Such apportionment shall be made by the Auditor on the same basis as the original assessment was made.
