(a) The Village Tree Board (in this chapter “Board”) shall consist of five voting members appointed by the Mayor. In addition, the Mayor and one member of Council shall be non-voting members of the Board and shall serve in an advisory role.
(b) Prior to January 31 of each year, the Board shall meet and elect a voting member to serve as Chairperson of the Board. The Chairperson shall have the authority to call and conduct meetings of the Board and to receive all permit applications, correspondence and other materials on behalf of the Board.
