A. Penalties and Fines. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, who makes a false statement in obtaining a permit under this chapter, or who violates any condition of any permit issued under this chapter, shall be subject to the penalties provided in this chapter in addition to the general penalties established in Chapter 1.08 of this code; provided, that the penalty for holding a special event without submitting a completed permit application and paying the required deposit at least five (5) days before the special event shall be a fine of not less than $1,000.
B. Revocation of Permit. The Village Manager may revoke any permit issued pursuant to this chapter, if any term or condition of the special event permit, this chapter, applicable Village ordinance or state law is violated. The permit revocation shall not preclude the Village from seeking fines or pursuing any other available remedy for any such violation. The revocation may be appealed in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.04.150 of this code.
C. Liability for Violations. A permit holder shall be subject to penalties for a violation of this chapter, or of a permit issued pursuant to this chapter, by any officer, director, manager, employee, agent or representative of the permit holder as if the violation had been committed by the permit holder personally. A person who hosts a special event shall be subject to penalties for violations of this chapter by the sponsor of the event or by any officer, director, manager, employee, agent or representative of the host or sponsor, as if the violation had been committed by the host personally.
D. Cumulative Remedies. The remedies provided in this chapter, and in Chapter 1.08 of this Code shall be cumulative and shall be in addition to the Village’ s right to collect all fees that are assessed under the provisions of this chapter.
