The Village will issue written notification to the holder of any license that has been issued for a term that exceeds one month, and to the holder of any license that expires at the end of the calendar year, of the date such license is due to expire and of the need to renew such license in order to remain in lawful operation. The notice will be issued from fifteen (15) to forty-five (45) days before the expiration date of the license, and will also state the amount of the license fee and the penalty for failure to procure a new license. Neither the Village's failure to issue, nor the licensee's failure to receive, such notice shall relieve the licensee of the obligation to procure a new license. (Prior code § 31.07)
