Any person aggrieved may take an appeal to the Village Board of Trustees from any decision of the Code enforcement official. An appeal may be taken within thirty (30) days from the date of the decision appealed by filing with the Code enforcement official and with the Board of Trustees a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof; except, that in the case of a building or structure which in the opinion of the Code enforcement official is unsafe or dangerous, the Code enforcement official may, in his order, limit the time for such an appeal to a shorter period. The Code enforcement official shall forthwith transmit to the Board of Trustees all papers upon which the action appealed from was taken. (Ord. 569, 6-12-1980; amd. 1994 Code)
