A. Department Designated: The sewerage system in the Village shall be maintained and operated in combination with the waterworks system of the Village and hereafter in this chapter shall be referred to as the Waterworks and Sewerage Department.
B. Jurisdiction Of Department: The Waterworks and Sewerage Department, under the direction of the President and Board of Trustees and such other officers and employees designated by them, shall have the supervision, management and control, subject to the Village Board, of the maintenance, enlargement and operation of the combined system owned and controlled by the Village, and all matters and things connected with the operation, maintenance and extension of said system and preserving the property belonging thereto.
