7-1-1: VILLAGE DATUM:
   A.   The United States geological survey (USGS) and United States coast and geodetic survey (USC&GS) datum is hereby established as a basis to which all levels and grades hereafter used in constructing local or public improvements within the limits of the village shall be referred.
   B.   All grades hereinafter fixed or established shall be referred to the datum plane herein established. (1994 Code)
