A. A person is cruel to an animal or animals whenever they shall do, or allow to be done under their supervision and control, any one or more of the following to any animal:
1. Overloading, overworking or overdriving.
2. Beating, torturing, mutilating or killing.
3. Working any old, maimed, infirm, sick or disabled animal.
4. Failing to provide as owner, or otherwise responsible caretaker, proper food, drink and shelter.
5. Abandoning.
6. Carrying, driving or keeping in a cruel manner.
7. Fighting or causing to fight or being a spectator at any fight purposely started by an individual. (Ord. 2016-12-28, 12-1-2016)
