A. Regular Meetings: The regular meetings and regular committee of the whole meetings of the village board of trustees shall be established by resolution duly adopted by the president and board of trustees prior to the beginning of each new calendar year. In general, the regular meetings of the village board of trustees shall be held on the first and third Thursdays of each and every month, but a different Thursday may be used to accommodate legal holidays, months in which there are five (5) Thursdays, and other circumstances where there may be a scheduling conflict. Every meeting may be adjourned from day to day by the village president in the event of a riot, fire or other extreme emergency or by a majority vote of the members of the board of trustees present at such meeting. B. Special Meetings: Special meetings of the village president and board of trustees may be called by the president or any three (3) members of the board of trustees at any time. Notice of special meetings of the president and board of trustees shall be given in writing to the president and to the trustees of the village, either personally or by mail, properly addressed to them respectively, and if such notice is given by mail, at least twenty four (24) hours shall intervene between the time of mailing of such notice in the village and the time of the holding of such special meeting. Such notices shall be required to set forth only in general terms the object for which such special meeting is called. In the case of a special meeting called at a regular meeting of the village board of trustees, written notice is not required to be given to any member of the corporate authorities who was present at the time the special meeting was called.
C. Place Where Meetings Held: All meetings of the village president and board of trustees, regular, adjourned or special, and all meetings of committees appointed by the village president shall be held in the village hall in the village, unless another location is designated by the village president and board of trustees.
