11-3-17: SANITARY SEWER AND WATER SERVICE LINES:
   A.   Sanitary sewer and water service lines located on the property line shall be constructed to connect with the utility service mains to serve each lot, tract or building site; such service stub shall extend from the main to a point at the property public right of way line of the property to be served for water service, and one foot (1') beyond ROW line for sanitary service. B-box shall be adjustable per village standard. The service line shall be of sufficient size to adequately serve the lot, tract, or building, and design calculations shall be submitted when requested by the village engineer. The minimum size service line shall be one inch (1") diameter for water service lines and six inch (6") diameter for sanitary sewer service lines. The type and manufacturer of water service line corporation stop and curb stop with box shall conform with the village standard or as approved by the village engineer. Curb and gutter shall be stamped designating location of water service ("W") or sanitary service ("S").
   B.   When possible, all sanitary sewer and water service lines shall be located at the approximate centerline of the lot or parcel to be served, to avoid the driveways. The service line end shall be marked with a wooden post extending at least three feet (3') above finished grade. All water service boxes shall be adjusted to finished grade prior to acceptance by the village and shall not be located in driveways or sidewalks.
   C.   House water and sewer services shall be constructed to connect with the utility service mains constructed within any street or thoroughfare, to serve each adjoining lot, tract or building site. Such house services shall extend from the main to a point at least two feet (2') beyond the property line of the property to be served. Water services shall be a minimum one inch (1") diameter type "K" copper tubing and shall include Mueller H-1500 corporation stop, Mueller H-15150 curb stop-coupling, and Mueller H-10300 service box.
   D.   All such house services connected with utility mains constructed within any street or thoroughfare shall be located at the approximate centerline of each lot. All service boxes shall be adjusted to finished grade prior to acceptance by the village.
   E.   Upon completion of the in place construction of all such house service connections with utility mains, two (2) copies of an accurate map or maps showing the exact location of all such mains, together with manholes, water valves, B-boxes and other similar facilities being a part thereof, by distances in feet from street lines, and of all such house connections in distances in feet from the side lot lines, approved by the engineer for the village, shall be filed in the office of the village clerk.
