The City does hereby adopt, for the purpose of providing for equal housing within the City, a prohibition against discrimination in housing on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability or national origin. Such discrimination may not occur in the sale, rental, lease, financing of homes or land to be used for the construction of homes or lands or in the provision of brokerage services within the City.
