4-1-1: ENFORCEMENT BY COUNTY:
The City hereby appoints the Sheriff of Lewis County and his duly appointed deputies as police officers for the City, with all of the powers and duties as provided by law for such police officers within the territorial jurisdiction of the incorporated limits of the City, as they now or shall hereafter encompass. (1990 Code §3-101)
