3-3-2: TRANSPORTATION OF EXPLOSIVES:
   A.   Explosives shall not be transported or carried on or in any conveyance carrying passengers for hire. (1990 Code §7-301)
   B.   Every vehicle, while carrying explosives, shall be marked or placarded on each side and the rear with the word "explosives" in letters not less than eight inches (8") high, and there shall be displayed on the rear of the vehicle a red flag not less than twenty four inches (24") square, marked with the word "danger" in white letters six inches (6") high. Also, the vehicle shall be equipped with not less than two (2) fire extinguishers, filled and ready for immediate use, and placed at a convenient point on the vehicle.    C.   It shall be unlawful for any person in charge of a vehicle containing explosives to smoke in, upon or near such vehicle; to drive, load or unload the vehicle while intoxicated; to drive the vehicle in a careless or reckless manner, or to unload such vehicle in a careless or reckless manner.
   D.   It shall be unlawful for any person to place or carry, or cause to be placed or carried, any metal tool or other similar piece of metal, in the bed or body of a vehicle containing explosives.
   E.   It shall be unlawful for any person to place or carry or cause to be placed or carried, in the bed or body of a vehicle containing explosives, any exploders, detonators, blasting caps, or other similar explosive material, or to carry in or upon any such vehicle any matches.
