(a) There is hereby levied a sanitary sewer tap-in fee to be paid by each new customer or a customer's expansion or reconstruction of existing multifamily, business, commercial, industrial or institutional buildings as follows:
(1) Single-family residential $750/unit
(2) Multifamily $750/unit
(3) Mobile home $600/unit
(4) Business, commercial, industrial or institutional 0.25/sq. ft/bldg.
(b) In the event of an expansion or reconstruction as contemplated in subsection (a) hereof, and if the Mayor determines that no increase in sewer usage will occur as a result of such expansion or reconstruction in excess of the usage contemplated prior to such expansion or reconstruction, the sewer tap-in fee pertaining to such expansion or reconstruction may be waived.
