(a) There is hereby levied a sanitary sewer tap-in fee to be paid by each new customer or expansion of existing multifamily, business, commercial, industrial or institutional buildings as follows:
(1) Single-family residential $500/unit
(2) Multifamily 500/unit
(3) Mobile home 400/unit
(4) Business, commercial, industrial or institutional 0.25/sq. ft./bldg.
(b) In the event of an expansion as contemplated in subsection (a) hereof, and if the Mayor determines that no increase in sewer usage will occur as a result of such expansion in excess of the usage contemplated prior to such. expansion, the sewer tapirs fee pertaining to such expansion may be waived.
