921.01 PERMIT REQUIRED; FEE.
   (a)   No house sewer shall be constructed to connect with a public sewer nor shall any connection, or repair or alteration of same, be made to a public sewer within the City until the written permission of the Building Inspector or the Inspector's authorized designee has been obtained by the person, firm or corporation employed to perform the work. An application for a permit shall be signed by the owner, agent or lessee of the property for which the connection, or repair or alteration of same, is to be made and by the person, firm or corporation employed to perform the work, and must describe the property and state the fixtures to be connected and shall be accompanied by a fee as stipulated in Section 1337.01(c).
   (b)   All work necessary and relating to the connection of a house sewer line with a public sewer, or the repair or alteration of same, shall, prior to the concealing, covering or enclosing of said work by the use of soil, concrete, gravel, stone or any other material or substance, be inspected by the Building Inspector or the Inspector's authorized designee. Said work shall not be permitted to be permanently concealed, covered or enclosed until said Building Inspector or designee certifies that all work has been performed in a manner that fully complies with the provisions of these Codified Ordinances.
