When a permit for any work contemplated herein has been issued, the Department of Public Service shall be notified within twenty-four hours of the completion of such work in order that the same may be inspected and approved. If the work is unsatisfactory in the judgment of the Department it shall immediately be corrected so that the same may be approved by the Department.
