(a) Any person, firm, corporation or association may file an application to be exempt from the provisions of this chapter if:
(1) The mechanical amusement devices are located in a temporary structure.
(2) The operation of the mechanical amusement devices swill not exceed seven days at the location.
(b) Applications shall be made to the Director of Finance on forms to be prescribed by him or her, shall state the name and address of the applicant, the location of the mechanical amusement devices in the City, the dates of operation in the City, and such other information that the Director of Finance may require, and shall be accompanied by a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) processing fee.
(c) If the applicant qualifies for exemption under this section, the Director of Finance shall issue a certificate of exemption. The certificate shall set forth the name of the applicant the location of such devices, and dates of operation in the City. The certificate shall be displayed in a conspicuous place.
